Many months passed to allow to cure the lime floor of the new bathroom. Grinding with diamond disk and various grains of sand paper orbital sander allowed the marble patterns to come to the surface...
In spite of all the efforts done by the friends who came to help, unfortunately the result is very uneven with many irregular areas that will take time to get used to...
Too late to do anything else than acknowledge the mistakes done, take a big breath... and keep going on however it came. Eventually more soapy water cleaning and maybe some natural oil or clear finish will give it a more appealing and satisfying look.
