Raising roses

Fragrant scented gift to the garden of the Heart... At the Raw-Jah house new flowers are setting their roots and hopefully they will become someday a beautiful fence of roses. Of course I could not miss the chance to make it carbon negative by adding well soaked biochar to the planting holes.

At the bottom, I have set a layer of rock (mostly taken out from the hole itself) to create a good drainage for the rain water; then it comes the charcoal, well soaked from before.

Next layer, there is soil with a sprinkle of natural fertilizing pellets specific for roses: I really want them to enjoy the place!

Here comes the first one in... it's been soaking for sometimes too.

So it's done like this, till the top.
