The second light of the new bathroom is now ready and fully working. Check out the details...
As you can see, the section of this lamp has a particular pattern because I have planned to use GU10 lights with a 38 degrees opening.
The idea is that directing the lamp 19 degrees (half of 38) off from the horizontal plain it is not going to hit the mirror that it's going to be placed underneath and it's going to enlighten who is in front of the mirror...
I have installed a metal cover (connected to the electrical ground just in case...) to protect the inside from dust or insects. It's a recover piece of metal gutter cut to shape. It has small drilled holes to avoid the lamps from over heating... they are LED 3 watt each so they are not heating up that much anyway.
These are some details of the construction process: here you can see better the central board set 19 degrees off and holding the lamps.
This is a detail of the back. Using a leftover piece of metal profile, I shaped an edge drilling some sort of buttonholes allowing the screws fixed into the wall to hold tightly the whole lamp.
The board holding the lights is cut and screwed at 19 degrees on a thin piece of hard that is going to be connected with screws to the sides that are notched into the front board.
It's pretty simple and minimal looking but somehow elaborated at the same time.
