The recycling facilities of Payaka are again operative: composting and recycling paper on a daily basis, showing people how to do it... by doing it together. The biggest success is to see local thai/hilltribe people getting into it! It's just the beginning...
The wood saw dust I had set next to the compost got wet and now it's better than ever: it got close to coffee grounds consistency so it's easy to add it on the pile balancing out the nitrogen of the fresh kitchen scraps.
The first pile I had started months ago has completely matured...
...and many trees sprouted all around the place, mostly mangoes and linchee: it's really amazing!
